On 19th April Northern Nuclear Alliance are piloting a 4 week virtual work experience programme.

10 students at UTC Warrington will be given the chance to lead a project based on a theoretical scenario of retrieving highly radioactive sludge from the bottom of a storage pond without physical human interaction.

The students will carry out a series of roles within the project such as Project Manager, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer & a Communications Representative.

The NNA Steering Group Members; Cavendish Nuclear, Sellafield Ltd, Assystem, NSG Environmental Ltd & Atkins are delivering the virtual experience sessions include:
