The Northern Nuclear Alliance is continuing to provide its series of sessions online to help keep the supply chain as up to date and as well informed as possible. The next session is focussed in two areas:
- Magnox Engagement and Supply Chain Opportunities – Magnox are in a transition phase at the moment, as their decommissioning strategy changes from blanket deferral to a site specific approach, including continuous decommissioning. As part of this interactive session we are looking to update our members on how Magnox plan to engage the supply chain and highlight potential opportunities.
- Contractual issues around Covid 19. The impact from Covid has been substantial on many companies within the nuclear supply chain. HKA’s Paul Ives will provide a handy summary of the issues along with advice and support on how to deal with them.
In addition we are updating our members on the projects which the NNA is delivering in the areas of Skills and Community, Clean Growth and SME Mentoring.
