The Northern Nuclear Alliance invites you to an event focused on nuclear skills.
Hot on the heels of the recent publication by Government of the Nuclear Skills Plan and the associated Skills Charter, the NNA’s Skills and Capability Sub-Group will be holding an event to look in more detail at what this means for the industry in the region.
We’ll have contributions from Prof Scott Heath (the only academic member of the Nuclear Skills Task Force) as well as Andrew Jones from Cogent Skills, Monica Mwanje from Inclusion and Diversity in Nuclear and Nicola Wallwork of NSAN, who chairs the Sub-Group. They will discuss the implications of the Plan, how it aligns with existing activities in the nuclear skills landscape and what happens next in terms of meeting the skills challenge.
After the event, which is kindly being hosted by NNA member company Arup, there will be a networking lunch and great conversations happening from 12:00.
