The Big Energy Debate

Location: The Auditorium at The Centre, Birchwood Park, Warrington WA3 6YN

Time: 7.30am

You are invited to Insider’s North West Energy Breakfast where you can discover how the region’s energy can be transformed for a low carbon future.

This event will consider how the North West, with native assets like Sellafield; natural gas reserves; Peel Ports and Britain’s energy coast can become the UK’s leading region for the energy industry and what’s needed to develop a fully functioning supply chain for the sector.

Energy is the hot topic in the North as it has been identified as one of the region’s prime economic capabilities as the Northern Powerhouse gathers steam. Energy, along with manufacturing, health and digital will form the core of the region’s growth

As the population of the North West is expected to grow by 10 per cent over the next 25 years, the demand for electricity will increase massively. Electricity North West believes the solution for a low carbon future involves renewable energy, advancements in technology like electric cars, along with more innovations in the sector.

Register your interest to discuss:

Which projects are the most investable and desirable for the long term future of the region and the UK?
How can businesses take advantage of innovations in renewables?
How can SMEs reduce their energy spend?
Will foreign investment in energy be impacted by Brexit?
