The National College for Nuclear – that will train thousands of technicians and engineers to support Britain’s future nuclear programmes – was officially opened on 7th February.
The college, that is supported by industry – Sellafield Ltd and EDF – government and academia, has two hubs, Cumbria (Lakes College) and Somerset (Bridgwater & Taunton College), with state of the art facilities that include virtual, simulated laboratories.
